Mount Assembly (L69A1)

The HMG softmount assembly (10968) is a buffered machine gun mount designed to fit the 0.50″ M2 / Quick Change Barrel HMG. It has been designed for maritime use and is predominantly manufactured from stainless steel to resist salt-water corrosion.  The HMG softmount assembly comprises of a buffered mount, which reduces the shock of recoil and runout during firing. The assembly mounts to the ISTEC parallel spigot receiver pot (5080) which is mounted to the vessel or the ISTEC Mk19 Minigun mount (9118).
