UGLS
The Underslung Grenade Launcher Sighting system is a mechanical quadrant that provides adjustment from 50m to 300m for any attached weapon optic. Designed around the HK G36 UGL, as fitted to the British military’s L85A2 assault rifle, the UGLS offers an improved first round hit rate for all available natures.
A single Mil Std 1913 rail is fitted to allow the attachment of any compatible optic, such as the Red Dot HWS.
Range scales are provided for 40mm Practice (Prac) ammunition and HEDP. The range scales are engraved in 25m increments from 50m to 300m. As an aid to setting the range of the quadrant under low light levels, a Gaseous Tritium Light Source (GTLS) is fitted to the range scale and the line on the rear face of the elevating beam.
