LRM (17761)

The ISTEC Lightweight Ringmount 17761 is a GVA sized (1140mm PCD) lightweight ring specifically designed to accept varying ISTEC softmounts and providing continuous 360deg rotation. Total weight of the LRM 17761 is less than 35kgs.

The LRM is driven by a simple manual gearbox mounted on the LH side of the traversing ring. The gearbox may be disengaged to allow the gunner to quickly swing the weapon station through large angles of arc onto the target area. Fine final adjustment in traverse can then be made using the gearbox.

The pintle socket is designed to accept standard NATO pintle’s but can readily be replaced with other mounting systems such as the G3 pintle socket.

The LRM 17761 is in-service on the Light Tactical Transport Vehicle.
